With increased adoption, upgrades to our technical architecture, and strategic partnerships, Q1 has been a defining period for Mantle Network in its mission to scale Ethereum efficiently. Whether you’re a developer, investor, or crypto enthusiast, this recap will give you a comprehensive look at how Mantle is setting the stage for an even bigger rest of the year.

Upgrades to Our Modular Architecture With EigenDA and Succinct's SP1

EigenDA has been fully integrated on Mantle Network: The upgrade from Mantle DA unlocks high performance, unprecedented scalability, censorship resistance, and security. It allows us to directly leverage EigenDA’s modular DA architecture to ensure sustainable growth and enterprise-grade throughput as blockchain adoption accelerates.
Succinct's zkVM reached Mantle Network Sepolia Testnet: Our adoption of Succinct’s SP1 represents a pivotal shift, and this upgrade is set to help Mantle Network achieve chain finality within one hour — a 168x improvement over existing bridging capabilities. Currently available on testnet, users can try out the turbocharged transaction confirmation on our testnet bridge.
Support for RIP-7212 secp256r1 signature verification was added which supports native social logins and passkey support.
Mantle Viem, a TypeScript extension for Viem, was launched to supercharge builders' Mantle Network L2 development for dApps by offering simplified communication layer of the frontend to the network.
We pledged our support for the Open Intents Framework and will continue to actively engage with the broader ecosystem and the Ethereum Foundation to reinforce integration and growth on Mantle Network.

Expanding the Ecosystem

Our vision has shaped our ecosystem efforts throughout Q1, with integrations focused on enhancing liquidity, scalability, and composability. In parallel, we’ve continued to explore the intersection of AI and crypto, leveraging AI-driven solutions across key verticals to strengthen our ecosystem and unlock new forms of efficiency.

Key integrations announced include:

Omega’s arrival on Mantle Network introduced a powerful cross-margin lending and leveraged farming protocol, reinforcing our focus on capital-efficient yield opportunities.
Mantle Network joined Chainlink SCALE, bringing Chainlink’s trusted Data Feeds and real-time Data Streams to the ecosystem.
Funny Money became Mantle Network’s flagship AI agent launchpad and DeFAI terminal, introducing a new model for autonomous trading and AI-driven financial infrastructure.
INFINIT Terminal arrived as a unified AI interface that allows users to interact with DeFi protocols through simple text-based commands. With the INIT Agent now live, this collaboration pushes forward Mantle’s DeFAI efforts by simplifying access to DeFi strategies and unlocking a new layer of autonomous user experiences.
Bungee went live on Mantle Network, enabling seamless, chain-abstracted swaps powered by SOCKET. By simplifying asset movement across networks and supporting liquidity flows into Mantle, Bungee reinforces our position as a growing liquidity hub within the broader multi-chain landscape.

Collaborative Ecosystem Initiatives

One of the standout ecosystem-wide efforts in Q1 was Ecogalaxy: Mantle Surge, a headline campaign created in collaboration with Bybit that brought together 9 protocol participants across Mantle Network. More than just a rewards initiative, the campaign reflected Mantle Network's commitment to supporting ecosystem protocols through meaningful user acquisition, aligned incentives, and shared visibility. Throughout the campaign period, participating protocols saw a ~675% increase in daily active addresses and a ~146% rise in total daily transactions, illustrating the campaign’s success and its positive impact on those involved.

Rewards Station has constantly kept up a stream of active reward pools to ensure that $MNT holders can look forward to diverse perks and benefits from the ecosystem, including Ethena's $ENA, EigenLayer's $EIGEN and more. There are currently 30K+ holders who cumulatively hold over 80M $MNT on this rewards-churning machine, and we continue to bring exciting projects to the Mantle Network community.

Special Shoutout to the Yappers

Since the launch of Mantle's Yapper Leaderboard on Kaito, we've seen an outpouring of meticulously-crafted content from those within and outside the community. It's a battle for the top 50 spots on the Yapperboard for the 150K $MNT grand prize pool, plus an additional 10K $MNT for yappers on our Discord's Yap Club. Building the Future of Web3, One dApp at a Time

Sozu Haus Collabs: We supported the best hacker house in the world across several events, including the Virtual AI Hackathon and Not Denver AI Hackathon during ETHDenver week which saw a total of 89 high quality submissions from participants!
Exciting Hackathons: Several Mantle hosted and co-hosted hackathons including the Mantle APAC Hackathon, Hack Golden Gai and Aleph Hackathon successfully concluded or are currently ongoing as we continue to empower builders and developers in creating the next big dApp
Mantle EcoFund & Scouts Program: We're proud to be the dedicated EVM partner for Synergy, an initiative aiming to advance cross-chain developments between the TON and EVM ecosystems supported by Mantle EcoFund and TON Accelerator.
Strategic Initiatives: We kicked off a new arts initiative with Another Art — Season 0 saw the participation of more than 100 artists, with 10 finalists being picked by judges. Another win for digital artists!

The LatAm Community: And not to forget the power of Mantle's LatAm community! Our alliance with Odisea has propelled Mantle Network as a powerhouse of blockchain innovation in the LatAm region, and we're committed to fueling its momentum. Through our Latam activations, we’ve engaged with local developers, entrepreneurs, and communities, providing the tools, resources, and support needed to drive web3 adoption across the region.
